Jan. 21st, 2023 07:46 pmSo I got into true crime, like a ghoul, and I watched The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker (2023). TW: Murder, sexual assault.
Also, I hate that, after the flush offirst second romance with Mastodon, like so many other people, I was like:
In the beginning: This is great! No dumb discourse! It's so chill!
Now: What the fuck. Where's my hit of enraging discourse. It's so chill.
And here I am, knee-jerk posting my negative thoughts on Twitter and continuing to be part of the fucking problem. UGH!
( anyway, thoughts on this thing I probably shouldn't have watched and probably shouldn't be platforming under the cut, lolsob )
I don't know, am I wrong? Am I too credulous? Am I expecting too much out of a Netflix true crime doc? Did any of you watch it?

Glorious (2022)
Aug. 31st, 2022 10:48 pmI enjoyed Glorious (2022), the movie about a heartbroken man getting trapped in a grody rest-stop bathroom with a Lovecraftian gloryhole. It won't change your life, but I liked seeing Ryan Kwanten again (enjoyed him as Jason back in True Blood) and J.K. Simmons sounded like he was having a lot of fun as the voice of the titular gloryhole/Elder God.
